Google Has Just Acquired YouTube For $1.65 billion
Moments before writing this post the news broke that google have now successfully purchased YouTube for the sum of $1.65 billion in an all stock transaction.
According to some sources it has become known that Yahoo! were also in talks and were also bidding on the purchase of youtube.

This deal went from rumor to reality in a very short space of time, In fact within a few days people have gone from saying "Have you heard, Google might be buying youtube" to saying "Google now own youtube"
This is a great deal for all involved, Including the youtubers who enjoy the site on a daily basis. And it's just another step in Googles dream of organizing all of the worlds information.
